Joscha Weinert, born 1987 in Auerbach i.d.OPf., studied civil engineering at the Munich University of Applied Sciences. He graduated with a Master\\\'s degree in steel construction and design engineering. Since 2014 he has been working as a research assistant at the Laboratory for Steel and Light Alloy Construction at Munich University of Applied Sciences. His research focuses on adhesive bonding solutions for the repair of fatigue-damaged steel structures and the use of high-frequency hammering processes for the post-weld treatment of steel components exposed to fatigue stress in a corrosive environment.
