Dr.-Ing. Alexander Zabirov

Alexander Zabirov, born in 1977 in Tula (Russia), studied mechanical engineering with a specialization in welding technology at Tula University from 1994 to 2000. The welding engineer completed his Ph.D. in 2016 after working as a research assistant in the field of welding process simulation at the Institute for Welding and Joining Technology at RWTH Aachen University. Following this, Alexander Zabirov worked as a project manager for pre-development and lightweight construction at FEV Vehicle GmbH in Aachen until 2023. Since 2023, he has been working at Trailer Dynamics GmbH in Eschweiler as a project manager for eTrailer development. Dr.-Ing. Alexander Zabirov has been a member of the DVS – German Welding Society and the IIW – International Institute of Welding since 2011
