Marcus Brand

Marcus Brand, born in 1970, studied at the RWTH Aachen University and University of Braunschweig/ Germany and obtained his degree in 2002. He has been a scientific employee at Fraunhofer IWM in Freiburg/Germany since 2003. His research focuses on welding of metallic materials with a special emphasis on the numerical simulation of the welding process.
