Dipl.-Ing. (FH) Jennifer Karbaum

Dipl.-Ing. (FH) Jennifer Karbaum studied
materials engineering of glass and ceramics at the
Westerwald Campus in Höhr-Grenzhausen, the
University of Applied Sciences Koblenz, Germany.
Since 2012 she has been a project engineer in the
Process and Application Technology Group at the
Forschungsinstitut für Anorganische Werkstoffe
-Glas/Keramik- GmbH. Her work focuses mainly
on the development and optimisation of ceramic
materials, which are used in various industrial
applications. This includes the development of
ceramic grinding media for use in high-energy
ball mills. A further focus of her work is process
development/optimisation for the production of
ceramic components.
