Dr. Dirk Gorissen is a research fellow with the Computational Engineering and Design Group, School of Engineering Sciences, Southampton University, Southampton/UK. His particular topics of interest include global and local surrogate modeling for engineering design exploration and optimisation, high-performance computing, evolutionary computing, machine learning and software engineering.
