Prof. M. Said Abdel-kader

Prof. M. Said Abdel-kader is Professor Emeritus
at the Arab Academy for Science, Technology
and Maritime Transport. In 1986 he obtained
his D. Sc. in the field of Solid Mechanics and
Materials Science from George Washington University
in Washington, D.C./USA. His experience
in the fields of academic education, research
and consultancy work has been accumulated
over 42 years. His main fields of interest include
impact dynamics and fracture mechanics, viscoplasticity
and constitutive equations, fatigue,
creep and risk analysis. His publications exceed
50 research papers.
