Dr.-Ing. Andreas Pittner

Dr.-Ing. Andreas Pittner ended his Mechanical Engineering studies at the Stralsund University of Applied Sciences in Stralsund/Germany in 2004. Thereafter, he began his advanced Master of Science studies in Computational Engineering in 2005 and ended these in 2007. He was a Scientific Employee from 2007 to 2011 (and obtained his doctoral degree in July 2011). He has been the Divisional Manager for Welding Simulation and Arc Welding at the Federal Institute for Materials Research and Testing (BAM), Berlin/Germany, with Division 9.3: "Fabrication Processes Using Welding Technology" since November 2011.
