Prof. Min Liu is Vice president of Guangdong Academy of Science. He obtained his master degree at in...Prof. Min Liu is Vice president of Guangdong Academy of Science. He obtained his master degree at institute of Metal Research in 1990, afterwards he entered into Guangzhou Research Institute of Nonferrous (now Guangdong Institute of New Materials) as a research personnel. His research is mainly focused on thermal spray and laser technology. For thermal spray technology, he had excellent experience in research and applications of advanced coatings, like wear and corrosion resistance coating (WC-based coatings), TBCs, and other function coatings. For laser technology, the work includes laser cladding and laser additive manufacturing.
