M.Sc. Eng. Luciano Machado Cirino, born in 1979 in Santiago/Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil, studied Mecha...M.Sc. Eng. Luciano Machado Cirino, born in 1979 in Santiago/Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil, studied Mechanical Engineering at the Federal University of Santa Maria (UFSM), Santa Maria, from 2000 to 2004. After his graduation, he worked in the food industry as a maintenance chief for two years. Thereafter, he started his Masters studies in 2007 at the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC), which were completed in 2009. Currently, he works at LABSOLDA – UFSC as a researcher in the field of arc welding.
