"Without joining technology, thereâs no such thing as sustainability" - a status discussion of DVS and Messe Essen
On 28 June 2011, DVS – German Welding
Society and Messe Essen GmbH held
a status discussion about sustainability in
joining technology. Experts and journalists
congregated on the premises of Linde AG
in Hamburg/Germany in order to discuss
the subjects of the energy mix and mobility
in the future from the viewpoint of materials
and joining technology. “No matter whether
renewable energies or mobility in the future:
Without joining technology, there’s no such
thing as sustainability,” DVS Chief Executive
Officer Dr. Klaus Middeldorf got to the heart
of the subject at the beginning of the event.
