"Safety at work 4.0": Traffic light sensor monitors and regulates room air in Caritas workshop

Many, especially small and mediumsized enterprises are still suspicious about Industry 4.0 and the associated digitalisation of the working world. Nevertheless, it can considerably improve occupational safety in the production of metal-processing companies. The use of the air monitoring system “Airtracker Basic“ in the metal area of the Caritas workshops in Papenburg, northern Emsland, Germany, shows how hazards for employees can be further minimized and how increased efficiency in production can be achieved.
