Pipeline project in Argentina
Acueducto Gran San Juan is a 50 km piping
line project that will cover the need of
natural drinking water for the future population
of San Juan/Argentina. The pipeline
will begin in the Andes mountains, west of
the capital of San Juan, at 1,200 m.a.s.l. and
will run to the east through the mountains
until it reaches the city. The todays population
of San Juan is about 680,000 people, but
is expected to grow over the million in less
than 50 years. One of the concerns of the
government is the covering of the needs of
drinking water for this population.
