The INDIA ESSEN WELDING & CUTTING
fair, the Indian variant of the world’s
premier SCHWEISSEN & SCHNEIDEN fair,
took place for the fifth time, from 30 October
to 1 November 2012. Around 10,500 trade
visitors came into the Bombay Convention
& Exhibition Centre in Mumbai also for the
Tube India International, Metallurgy India
and Wire & Cable India trade fairs being
staged there in parallel. The objectives of
the quartet of fairs were to make use of synergetic
effects and to promote the exchange
of expert opinions amongst each other. On
the exhibitor area covering over 14,000 m2
in total, the visitors were thus able to take
advantage of the wide range on offer for
everything to do with joining technology,
metal processing, pipeline technology and
cable technology and to obtain information
about the adjacent specialist subjects.
