Better quality in half the times

When visiting the Stadler Altenrhein AG, Altenrhein/Switzerland, the eye falls immediately upon a colourful exploded-view drawing on the wall. The manufacturing concept illustrates the individual components of a rail vehicle: Bulkhead and side walls, stems and middle section of the undercarriage, upper deck, intermediate floors and door portals. They are kept in the manufacturing halls in various stages of completion to later form a double-decker car for two-part and multipart trains. The 1,000 employees here also build customer-specific trains and trams.
